Interactive Story Time with Ms. Helena at The Canopy in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Get ready for interactive story time at The Canopy! Join us in our classroom for a joy-filled half-hour where we will read books, listen to songs, and dance as a group. Blossoming readers and their caregivers of all ages are encouraged to join us (but don't forget to register ahead of time as space is limited!)

Ms. Helena Klimon, our Fabulous Story Time Reader

Our interactive story time will be taught by educator Helena Klimon. She writes:
After coaching dance classes in high school and discovering the joy of teaching, I studied education at the University of Virginia. During my time working as an educator in Virginia, I was lucky enough to teach students of all ages, from pre-K all the way to high school seniors. However, my greatest passion has always been fostering a love of reading in my youngest friends. Moving to Brooklyn and joining The Canopy has given me a brand new avenue to do just that. When I'm not sharing my passion for reading, I enjoy searching for the best tomato soup in NYC and spending time with my partner while we prepare for the arrival of our first baby girl.
